So I was tagged forever ago and I haven’t decided if I wanted to do one of these tags. After about 3 months of thinking what I would write had I actually decided to go through with one of these, I though it would be a waste to not after all that thought… Besides, sometimes I find out interesting things about others that I had no idea about! Here’s a mix of what I’m supposed to write.
6 random things about myself:
1. I have a lazy eye. Only when I tell people do they stare at me and try to guess which one is “lazy.” It’s actually really not that bad but my parents wouldn’t let me wear contacts until after high school just in case something were to make me go blind in my good eye. Because of this I wore the cutest, hugest, pink glasses a little girl could find. I was so cute, in fact, that when girl scout cookie selling time came around only I was sent to every house in a 2 mile radius to sell cookies (not my sisters, sounds a little Cinderella-ish). Then I was supposed to split all the earnings with my sisters… it doesn’t pay to be cute apparently
2. I am extremely scared of the dark. Sometimes I have to walk to campus at 5:30 in the morning and I imagine things on my way up there. I also have a very hard time staying by myself over night, or ever for that matter. I am a lot embarrassed to admit that I, a 23 year old, am actually scared of the dark. Ironic that I LOVE scary movies; this probably fuels my fear.
3. Apparently I have very nice calves. This might sound like I’m bragging, but I actually get embarrassed when people notice. I was a soccer player in high school, and I run half marathons and do other ridiculous things, but they’re definitely inherited.
4. I have inherited really small hands. It comes from my dad, if anyone was wondering. One time Cecilie was making fun of my small hands and mom got mad and said “she can’t do anything about it, don’t make fun of her” only to have her hold my hands a few days later and comment how small they really are. These hands are ALWAYS cold, which sometimes turns out to be a good thing
I also inherited the ability to blush so very easy.
5. I do ridiculous things that I probably shouldn’t do. I am also a tinge lazy, which wouldn’t be expected from my explanation of the ridiculous things I do. For example, I did this century ride this summer and the last time I’d ridden a bike was when I was about 5. Then 2 weeks later I ran a half marathon. Why? It’s fulfilling, and I like doing these ridiculous things. If I am still in Utah next summer I want to do the Wasatch Back.
6. I secretly love the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I don’t know all the words to all their songs, but I’m working on it… Random fact #6.5: I have a strange ability to learn lyrics to songs very easily. I can’t memorize anything for a test or a class, but I can memorize song lyrics (helpful?)
6 shows I like to watch:
1. The Office (I follow this weekly but I have to watch it the day after on hulu.com)
2. Grey’s Anatomy (same story as The Office)
3. Arrested Development
4. Saved by the Bell (haven’t seen it in a while, but I love even thinking about this time of my life)
5. Full House
6. anything on foodnetwork
My favorite 6 restaurtants:
1. Red Robin – I LOVE their A1 Peppercorn and Bleu Cheese burgers, and their fries and fry sauce are to die for!
2. Cheesecake Factory (their peanut thai pasta dish is amazing, and topped off with white chocolate raspberry cheesecake)
3. Sam Wu’s in San Francisco’s China town. I mainly like this place because we always go with a crowd of people and the ladies always get mad at us!
4.BJ’s Brewery (AMAZING pizza and homemade root beer. Did I mention the pazookies?!
5. Ghiradelli Square in San Francisco
6. Macaroni Grill
6 things I am looking forward to:
1. graduation!!! I applied the other day and I think everybody should have that feeling of elation at some point of their lives
2. getting an internship in April, I won’t know what I’m doing after graduation until April 19!
3. being a registered dietitian and telling everyone on earth I know everything I know about nutrition
4. not living paycheck to paycheck some day (this may never happen but it’s nice to dream right?)
5. having my own little family
6. my birthday every year (my family would be disappointed if I didn’t write this)
I hope you all learned something interesting and new about me! I’m not going to officially tag anyone, but you are welcome to do this if you want to!
And, to be true to my enjoyment of posts with pictures, here is a picture for you to appreciate! This came from the request of my roommate Jill. We jumped on some guy’s trampoline who we didn’t know in the middle of the night before watching High School Musical.
Jill is the one on the left, whose ideas we loved.

I’m so glad I found your blog! You and your sisters I find extremely hilarious. Few people can make me laugh out loud in type. Such a good post… and I learned a lot about you that I didn’t know. Like pink glasses. Sweet!
Laura I am like you, I can’t memorize stuff for school, but I always know all the lyrics to songs and Heather wonders where I learned all these songs.
