Hi, I’m a Professional Student

So I am desperately avoiding writing all of the letters of application I need to write before the deadline on Feb 15 for an internship.  Don’t worry mom and dad, I’ll get them done on time!  In my attempt to find something better to do I have decided to listen to N’Sync and count down the days to graduation (94 if you were wondering).  I mean doesn’t that sound better than analyzing every detail of life and writing it down for the evaluators to pick apart?!

The first day of class one of my professors asked us who will remain faithful through the end of the semester and only 3 girls raised their hands.  She was obviously disappointed by the response so she asked how many at least will show up on time for class every day (class starts at 9am, like it does every other day, in the same room, where I live nowadays).  I did raise my hand for that one, but I thought she’d have a better success if she asked the questions in the reverse order.

It was a little amusing to think that the girls in my class each thought they weren’t going to do each assignment to the best of their abilities and show up on time for class.  Maybe you don’t know, but I am in a major FULL of girls, and each one is an over achiever.  There’s no way any of them will not be that way for the rest of the semester and the rest of their lives.  I hope they all rub off on me before I graduate!

I don’t know what life will bring after April 23, and I won’t find out until April 19 at 11pm.  All I know is that it will be way more stressful than what I’m doing now, so bring on the classes and meager paycheck!

Also, I neglected to mention the festivities from Christmas.  We went shopping way too much and I went back to Provo a week early to attend some weddings.  We didn’t decorate as usual this year because it was only Cecilie and I coming home.  Check our Christmas tree out:

And while I was home we had some pretty crazy wind, and luckily this huge branch missed our car!

And last, I came back to Provo to see enjoy this, and it even snowed more than this!
